The 8th-Sense

In my first two books, I talk a lot about using our eight senses to detect contact and have provided many examples to work with. Here, I’d like to share two examples of the 8th-sense in particular. The first example is how the 8th-sense applies to everyday life and the second is from a contact discussed in Alien Contact.

Example #1

My roommate and I have been looking for a new place to rent for some time now without success. While I have been out of town house-sitting for friends, and tired of looking, my roommate settled on a place that really wasn’t going to make her happy. Me, I decided to just wait until after house-sitting to find a place. I had a couple offers and not knowing when my friends would return home, decided to wait until I knew when they would get back before making my decision on which place to rent. One of which was their second home about 1 hour from where I currently live.

The other morning, a thought came out of nowhere to visit one of the local businesses for breakfast. I asked my roommate if she wanted to go and after a brief pause, she said, “Sure.”

When we arrived, she asked me, “Do you want to eat outside on the patio?” I responded, “Sure.”

While we were eating, I told my roommate that I was most likely going to take my friends up on their offer to rent one of their homes for the summer about 1 hour away. Then, I’d take another offer from someone else to rent a smaller place during the winter months. While I really didn’t want to move down the mountain to rent the first home, I wanted to help them financially as they are in a tough spot right now.

No more than a couple minutes later, a jeep pulled up to the curb next to us and the driver approached us. My roommate asked, “Good morning! Are you here to eat breakfast too?” He responded, “No. Actually, I saw you sitting there and decided to stop and talk to you.” He continued to ask if she (or we) were still interested in renting his 2 condos and if so, that we needed to come up with some sort of solution for the no-pet policy the association had in place. A few minutes later, we decided to go with him to look at these two units. We both really liked them and I decided to take the smaller condo even if my roommate didn’t take the larger one.

While there, and once we acknowledged that we liked the place and would love to live there, the solution presented itself and we agreed to rent both of his condos. In the meanwhile, this man had a small cabin down the hill from the condos where my roommate’s cat could stay until the upcoming association board meeting. He would present the case for allowing cats to everyone for vote.

So while this seems like a very simple and typical exchange, there is one important thing to point out: the 8th-sense was used to detect a form of contact or guidance which, when followed, led to the successful location of our new homes. It all appears to flow very naturally or as some say, synchronistically.

You may now be wondering what the 8th-sense contact was and how it was detected.

If you go back to the beginning, there was a thought in my mind to go to that particular business for breakfast. This thought was not my own and I knew that. If it were, I would not have gone as there was plenty of food in the house. Knowing it was from “someone else”, I decided to see where it took us. In the same manner, someone placed a thought in my roommate’s mind to eat outside. Even though it was pretty windy out, I felt it necessary and said, “Sure.” Something was afoot and I recognized this.

Then, as fate would have it, this man pulled over to talk to us about reconsidering his condos. It seemed too synchronistic to us so we both agreed to see where this was all going and went out to his place. Once there, we felt comfortable there and actually loved the area and views. Our inner guidance felt good about it so we told him we’d take ‘em. We just had to work out a solution for the cat. Then, that too came without delay and allowed us all to move forward.

There was, however, one issue that I had and that was paying rent for a period where I would not be living there. Remember my house-sitting gig an hour away? I simply could not afford it and let my roommate know that it was going to be very difficult for me unless he can work with me.

The following evening, this man drove all over town looking for my roommate’s car. Once he found her, they engaged in a conversation regarding the finer details of our agreements. This is when my roommate reminded him that I was house-sitting for friends out of town and that I wasn’t sure when they’d return. Therefore, I could not pay rent until they came back from out of state. He said it wasn’t a problem and that in fact, if I wanted to move my things in and crash there when back in town for business, that was alright. I could start paying rent when my friends returned.

As I discuss in my second book, “Into The Wild”, when we begin to pay attention to our eight senses and in each moment, we find wonderful relationships with the “others”. Sometimes we know who it is that’s talking to us and other times we do not – as in the case above. When we can get beyond our fears and thinking that it’s only our imagination, we begin to move in a wonderful way and actually, in harmony with Nature. Also contained in book 2 is how my ET contacts evolved into these sorts of “student-mentor” relationships and what I learned as a result.

Example #2

This example of using the 8th-sense to detect contact is discussed in detail in my first book, “Alien Contact” (see Contact Case #33).

Known as “invisibles”, these unseen beings are known to walk up to or beside hikers in area canyons. Day or night, it doesn’t matter. A few have even been photographed.

As part of my sky-watching evenings, I take at least one photo of the group using night-vision goggles. This is typically done toward the end of the evening and in this case, we were getting ready to head back to the truck when I decided to get ready to take their picture. However, a conversation broke out and then another after that. Before I knew it, it was time to go and we started our hike back.

At the top of the hill and just before rounding the corner to head down to the truck, I remembered to take their photo.

I stopped the three of my guests and had them position themselves for the photo. As I was setting the camera and goggles for the photo, things began to get really interesting.

First, the woman in the group (wife of another guest) asked if some of our contacts are invisible and show up with the goggles. I said yes, and proceeded to share a few examples of how the goggles can detect beings/objects within the IR (infrared) light spectrum where the human eye cannot see. As I did, someone tapped her on the shoulder three times. Her husband, who had his arm around her (see photo) and below her left shoulder, said he felt it too but thought it was just her adjusting for the photo. The guy to her left didn’t do it, so who did?

I snapped several shots using different settings and then for some reason, instead of looking down at the camera, I turned to my right and then looked downward. Immediately after doing so, they all exclaimed loudly, “What was that?!?! Did you see that?” I turned back around and asked what had happened. They told me that right behind me, at about knee level, there was a bright white burst of light. There was no way I could have done it and to be honest, I’m not sure how I would have had I the chance. The camera was in my hand and the flash didn’t go off. Besides, even if it did, the light they saw was directly behind me.

Long story-short, there was an incredible amount of activity for this group that particular evening. So much so, they returned at least two more times on their own, only to continue having multiple contacts. These are all discussed in book 1.

So, getting back to this story and how the 8th-sense was used, were you able to see it? If not, it begins toward the beginning of the story, but in this case it actually happened in more than one instance and with everyone in the group. Here’s what I mean:

  • As part of my ‘routine’, I take a group photo and was preparing to do just that.
  • Then, someone in the group asked a question that involved a lengthy answer.
  • This was followed by another, effectively making me forget the photo and that part of my routine.
  • As we approached the top of the hill, someone implanted the reminder in my mind to take the photo.
  • Stopping to do so, that question about invisibles was asked just moments before they made physical contact.
  • Lastly, somehow I was silently and unknowingly instructed to turn my back and look to the ground so the white light could be seen by them, not me.

The first instance of the 8th-sense was acted upon by my guests in the form of questions to distract me from the routine/photo. This could have been so I’d take the photo somewhere else. Admittedly, they were most likely unaware that the questions were not really their own, but were implanted at that moment. Being able to recognize when this happens is the 8th-sense. The next was when I picked up the non-verbal and mental reminder to stop and take a photo. Then came the prompting to ask the particular question regarding invisibles and lastly, my turning away just before the flash behind me. These are instances of contact.

Again, the 8th-sense is being able to pick up on thoughts – not your own – and then consciously act upon them to see what will happen. After all, there is a reason someone’s talking to you in this manner and is why I have taught people on my sky-watching outings to pay attention to this and the remaining seven senses when asking for contact.

  1. If you go back and look at the photo at the top of this post, try to pick up on what’s going on in the woman’s mind by interpreting her facial expression. This photo was taken right after the 3 taps on her shoulder.

People who have physical contact from those unseen are more profoundly affected than those who were there with them, but didn’t have the contact.

One example from book 1 is a man who I later learned was a veteran police officer. While standing up against a fence for his photo, someone grabbed his leg from the other side of the fence. He came running toward me before I took his photo and told me he was ready to go home!
