Due to the ever increasing number of people interested in making contact, there seems to be an underwhelming and disproportionate interest in providing additional resources for those who desire to step beyond the sighting or contact scenario towards a mutually beneficial relationship with their visitors…
When a contact case moves in this direction, contactees are left with many questions. These questions are not of the same nature or variety as those commonly heard among skeptics and UFO seekers. Once contact is made, something profoundly personal takes place within the Human. Questions such as “what just happened”, “how long was I gone”, “what does this mean”, barely speak to the challenge that is taking place deep within this person. The impact radically alters one’s paradigm.
Additionally, I believe the standard Close-Encounter types started by Dr. J Allen Hynek need not be reserved for UFO encounters. For example, if someone comes within 300 feet of a Bigfoot, this could be considered a Close-Encounter of the First Kind or CE-1. Likewise, when someone comes across a footprint in the woods, this could be considered a CE-2 as trace evidence was discovered.
As a contactee myself, having in the neighborhood of several hundred contacts either by myself or with a UFO skywatching group, it has been of the utmost importance to me that my guests and others I may speak with, understand that it can be much more than a simple sighting. Their sighting and or contact can be the beginning of a wonderful relationship with these star people.
Lastly, there is one more challenge facing people and that is the rigid belief systems encountered when doing online research. This website promotes dialog among all seven currently recognized CE kinds, primarily because of the need for this information to be shared. Secondly, I have personally experienced multiple CE-1′s, CE-2′s, CE-3′s, CE-4′s, and CE-5′s and understand the value of these encounters and would encourage others to seek out and share in similar events. While specifically believed to be with beings considered extraterrestrial or time travelers, such encounters can also include whales, Bigfoot, plants, insects, ghosts, etc. We do not hold fast to any one contact type, nor do we believe “Contact” refers to only ET as it is sometimes difficult to tell the difference between an Extraterrestrial, a Ghost, or a Multi-Dimensional being. There’s still so much we don’t know about them as well as ourselves, and how they manifest themselves to us largely depends on our beliefs and expectations.
It is with these issues and the serious need for support or other forms of reference that this website was birthed. Your comments and suggestions are welcome, as this is about “Community” and sharing.
